International House of Pancakes - IHOP

I can't even remember when was the last time I stepped into this restaurant,
It's been more than a year if I remember it right.
So what brought me here this time?
My friend who couldn't enjoy a wonderful Sunday morning under a cozy blanket,
And I got caught doing the same thing at the same time..

IHOP-

Even though it's international house of "pancakes,"
Neither me nor my friend ordered pancakes.
However, I still want to take a picture of their widely assorted syrup-

Chicken Florentine Crepes-

Surprisingly good,
It has chicken, spinach, mushrooms, onions, and Swiss cheese inside the crepes,
Topped with hollandaise sauce,
Something that melts in your mouth.

I think this one comes with the regular breakfast dishes,
I have short-term memories here,
Should be crepes with strawberry sauce-

Average taste.

I think IHOP should work on their plate presentation a little bit more,
Not like I want them to place the food in an artsy way or so.
Extra effort will actually make the food tastes better,
Remember we have to feast on eyes too right?
Or I'm asking too much again?

  1. I'm not sure what happened, but the Chicken Florentine Crepe bothered the hell out of my teeth tonight. It was either the spinach or the crepe that made my teeth feel extremely dry/gritty. I wouldn't recommend the Chicken Florentine Crepe to a friend.

  3. The syrups are in the wrong order. Those crepes are called Swedish crepes, and they aren't supposed to look that gross.
:) I work at Ihop, and I don't enjoy it.
