Leftover Magic Show

Gonna head up to San Jose tomorrow,
Looking at the fridge...
Mmm.....
Still a lot of leftover ingredients,
Let's see how am I going to put up this magic show,
And make them disappear.

Leftover Items:

Scallion
Eggs
Rosemary
Shitake mushroom
Garlic
Mozzarella
Stir-Fried Radish with Chili Pepper (็‚’่˜ฟ่””ไนพ from my mom)

What I bought 2 days ago:

Cabbage (small one)
Ground pork
Onion (small one)

All These Will Last Me for Two Days-

Of course with the help of that spatula.

Hamburger Patties-

Ingredient:

Ground Pork
Leftover mozzarella (shredded)
Leftover rosemary
Egg yolk x 1
Small onion (half, sliced)
Black pepper (I use a lot cz I love black pepper)
Salt (a pinch will do the job)
Corn starch (tiny bit)
Olive oil
Butter
Hamburger sauce from Japanese market

How?

Just blend everything together,
And make them into patties.
Remember to "throw" the patties back and forth between your palms in order to let the air out.

Ps. I forgot to take a picture of the action, otherwise it's way easier to see what the heck I'm talking about.

Drizzle some olive oil or butter on the pan,
Wait until it's really hot,
Put the patties and seared till slightly brown,
Turn to the other side and do the same thing.

Transfer the patties to the oven,
I also put a tiny cube of butter on top of each patties for more flavor.
350 degree,
I just leave it there until other dishes are cooked.

Accidentally found a bottle of hamburger sauce in the cabinet,
So I put some on my patties in the end.

The Magic Show-

Looks like a lot of food for one meal?
Well,
I added more after that.
I eat like a man.

Top: Hamburger patty with that mysterious sauce I've never tried before.
Middle: Cabbage with shitake mushroom
Bottom: Scrambled eggs with stir-fried radish

Overall Rating: 5.5

I was only planning on making 2 burger patties,
Ended up with 5,
I'm really not an expert of measuring how much should I get from the market.

The butcher asked me how much I want for ground pork,
I said one pound?
I usually just use my "body language" to show how much meat I want,
But this lady next to me asked for one pound of meat and it looks about right to me,
So I was being a copy cat and said one pound with my pride and courage,
After the butcher showed me the meat,
I was like....mm....not enough...I want a little bit more...
So...
You know..
Ended up with 5 hamburger patties.

Oh well,
Not like I can't finish them all in two days.
