Irresistible Garlic Bread

Got one medium length baguette for this recipe. Only intended to eat half initially, but that garlicky smell permeating the whole house, simply irresistible. The truth is, it was gone within minutes. Highly recommend this recipe, so addicting, super delicious, and finger licking good.

Irresistible garlic bread -

Ingredients?

  • 1 medium length baguette
  • 50 grams salted butter
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • Some grated aged Parmigiano Reggiano

How?

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit/218 degrees Celsius. Line a baking sheet or baking dish with foil.

Slice the baguette in half, so the length is still the same, just thinner. You know, not the other way around.

For the garlic butter mixture, mix together softened salted butter, finely chopped parsley, and finely chopped garlic.

Spread the garlic butter mixture to cut sides of bread. Sprinkle some grated cheese to boost up the flavor.

Into the oven and bake till the edge turns golden color, about 10 minutes.

Cut into smaller pieces before serving. The baguette should be crunchy after baking, so use a sharp knife to cut through it.

On a side note, I actually used 4 garlic cloves just because I love garlic so much. Garlic breath? Who cares? Taste always comes first.

By the way, lessons learned , good lessons learned. Next time I have to, no, I need to make more. One medium baguette just won't cut it.
